Every form keeps the entries people send. You can read them, sort out spam and make sure each one is linked to a contact.
Before you start
- The form has had at least one submission.
Steps
- Go to Communications → Forms. Under the form's name, click its submission count. You can also click Submissions in the form builder.
- Narrow the list with the search box, All, New only, ✓ Verified or Spam, and the date range (Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days or All time).
- Click a row to open the submission. You'll see the Contact, the Answers, and Details such as when it was received, whether the email was verified, the source and the device.
- Link the submission to a person. If it Matches someone by email, click Link. If it's Not a contact yet, click Add to contacts.
- Click Mark reviewed & next to work through new entries, or Spam to set one aside. Mark as new undoes a review.
- Use Add tag to tag the linked contact, and Save note to keep Internal notes that only your team sees.
- To act on several at once, tick them and use Mark reviewed, Add tag, Add to contacts, Export or Spam.
- Click Export CSV to download the filtered list.
What happens next
Reviewed and spam entries stay in the list with their status. A tag goes on the linked contact, so a submission must be linked first, or you'll see "Link this submission to a contact first — tags go on people."
Org admins can click Columns to choose up to 6 answers to show in the table.
Donation forms work differently. Each submission is a gift, so the table shows the amount, fund, frequency and receipt status, and Open gift → takes you to it. Donation submissions can't be marked reviewed or spam; receipts are handled in Gifts.
