Your pages live in the Pages drawer inside the editor. Open it to switch pages, add one, reorder or nest them, or change a page's settings.

Before you start

  • Open Editor in the left menu, then click Pages at the top left to slide the drawer open.

Steps

  1. To add a page, click New page. Enter the Page title, choose a Parent (nav) if it belongs under another page, and click Create page. It opens in the editor as a draft.
  2. To copy an existing page instead of starting empty, pick it under Start from.
  3. To rearrange, drag a page up or down. Drag it onto another page to nest it underneath. Pages nest up to four levels deep.
  4. A page's web address follows its place in the tree, so a Summer camp page under Programs is at /programs/summer-camp.
  5. Open a page's ⋯ menu for Rename, Duplicate, Page settings, View live and Delete. Site admins also see Publish and Set as home page.
  6. To keep a page out of your site's menu, open Page settings and switch off Show in navigation.

What happens next

Moving a page, changing Show in navigation and setting a new home page are all draft changes. Visitors don't see them until they're published.

Deleting a page asks you to type "delete" to confirm, and lists any links that will stop working so you can fix them afterwards.
