A page is made of sections, and each section holds blocks in one or more columns — a hero, a card grid, an events list, and so on. You add and arrange them on the editor's Page tab.
Before you start
- Open the page in the Editor and switch to the Page tab.
Steps
- To add a block, click Add a block at the bottom of a column, or the + between two blocks.
- Pick a block from the list, or use Search blocks. You only see blocks your site can show.
- The block is added to the page as a draft. Select it to fill in its fields.
- To move a block, drag it by its handle. With the keyboard, focus the handle and press the up or down arrow.
- To add a section, click Add section and pick a layout: Flexible, One column, Two columns, Three columns, One-third left, One-third right or Sidebar.
- To change a section, use Change layout, or open its More menu for Move up, Move down, Add section below and Delete section.
What happens next
Columns stack into one on phones, in the order they appear in the editor.
Some blocks fill themselves from your content. A Program grid or Season board shows your Programs, a Supporter strip shows your Supporters, and the news, events and story blocks work the same way. You edit those items on their own screen in the menu, and the block displays them.
Not sure which block you need? Describe what you want to the assistant on the Chat tab and it picks and fills one for you.
