An impact story is told by the person it happened to, not by the organization. It carries a pull quote, a linked program and a told-by byline, and it shows in the Featured story and Story grid blocks.
Before you start
- Your site uses Impact stories. If Stories isn't in your menu, a site admin can switch it on under Site Settings → Site details → What this site uses.
- The story itself, and a photo if you have one.
Steps
- Go to Stories and click New story.
- Enter the Title, Whose story it is (for example "A parent's story"), and a Summary.
- Write The story.
- Under Pull quote, add the Quote worth setting large and who it was Said by.
- Add The outcome — the impact in one line.
- In the sidebar, add a Hero image, choose the Program the story is about, and fill in Told by.
- Click Publish (or Submit for approval).
What happens next
The story gets its own page. The program you chose sets the chip and the sign-up form shown on that page.
