A 2Labs Global admin can open a support session to see your organization as an Org admin sees it, for example to help with a problem you reported. They must give a reason to start one.

How it works:

  • It starts read-only. Support can look but cannot change anything. Every page they open carries a banner saying they are viewing your organization as 2Labs support, with Read-only, the time left and their reason.
  • Changes need a second reason. To act, support clicks Enable changes and says why changes are needed. From then until the session ends they can act as an Org admin.
  • It lasts 60 minutes at most. It is never extended. When the time runs out, or support clicks Leave, it ends.

You can see every step in Organization Settings → Audit log. Choose 2Labs support access in the filter. The entries are:

  • 2Labs support entered this organization — with Read-only and when the session ends, and their reason.
  • 2Labs support enabled changes — with the reason they gave.
  • 2Labs support left this organization.

Anything support does in your organization is recorded under their name and marked 2Labs Global admin. If support invites someone, the invitation email says 2Labs invited them.

A support session is not one of your users' devices, so it does not appear in Active sessions.
